ARK’s Guitar Oral Motor Chew – Available in Three Colour-Coded Toughness Levels

Rock on!  The Guitar Grabber features a smooth loop that is easy to hold. There is a long extension to reach the back molars, with bumps and ridges that resemble the strings and knobs of a real guitar for additional sensory input.

Useful features of the Guitar Oral Motor Chew include -

  • Use as an oral fidget toy for children who need lots of sensory input
  • Becomes a safe alternative to chewing on hands, knuckles, shirts, pencils and siblings etc.
  • Can help to manage tooth-grinding and/or thumb-sucking
  • Builds oral strength, mobility and control
  • Actively exercises the lips, tongue, cheeks and especially the jaw allowing the mouth to learn and grow strong through oral exploration
  • The textured surface on the extension simulates the feel of actual food for realistic non-food chewing practice
  • Enables children opportunity to practice their biting/chewing skills without the risk of choking

Technical Information -

ARK's Guitar Grabber measures 13cm in length, 6cm across the handle and is 1.3cm thick.

Choosing the correct colour/density option -

Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not generally chew through anything). It is also suitable for individuals with low oral tone, or those with limited jaw strength who are just learning to bite and chew

Medium XT - This is the middle level, which is called XT ("Xtra Tough"). It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers

Very Firm XXT - This is the toughest level, which is called XXT ("Xtra Xtra Tough"). It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s fairly rigid/pretty firm. This level provides the most resistance/feedback to the jaw

Please note -This product is not a toy. Recommended for children 3 years old and upwards. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear and tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item starts to show signs of wear and tear

Ordering and shipping

Please NOTE that only ONE Guitar Grabber is supplied in a colour and toughness level of your choice. The group photo is for illustration of colours only. Choose your option from the drop-down menu above. Colour hues may vary slightly
