The Pinch Pencil Grip – Single Grips in Solid Colours

The Pinch Pencil Grip is designed to aid correct pencil grip development. It encourages the fingers to form the tripod grasp, which is considered to be the most effective grasp for handwriting activities. The Pinch Grip combines the structure of a Crossover Grip and the freedom of an Ultra Grip.

• A transitional grip – Ideal for bridging the gap between a Crossover and an Ultra Pencil Grip
• Features a centre ridge, which acts as a barrier so that the fingers do not cross over

• Suitable for children who find it hard to maintain a tripod grasp
• Useful for children who tend to grip their pencil too tightly
• Soft material allows the user to feel the barrel underneath the fingers which aids pencil control

Size – Overall length of grip 35mm

Please note – Pencil Grips are designed to be a snug fit, so that they do not move around once in place. A tiny amount of talc, Vaseline or vegetable oil may be required to “ease” the grip onto the pen or pencil. Pencil Grips fit standard pencils and pens. They do not fit large-barrelled, chunky or triangular pens or pencils. Not recommended for children under three years old as small parts may represent a choking hazard. Adult supervision is recommended. Pencils and pens are not included, they are for illustrative purposes only.
