The Pointer Grip – Pack of 6 Assorted Neon Colours

The Pointer Grip is designed to aid correct pencil grip development. It features a support for the index finger to fit into. There are two dimples on either side of the smooth barrel which act as a guide for the thumb and middle finger. This encourages the finger to form the tripod grasp, which is considered to be the most effective grasp for handwriting activities.

Please note – Pencil grips are designed to be a snug fit so that they do not move around once in position. A tiny amount of Vaseline, vegetable oil or talcum powder may help to ‘ease’ the grip onto the pen or pencil. Not recommended for children under three years old as small parts may represent a choking hazard. Adult supervision is recommended.
